Advertising on this site

This site is paid for by advertising. The forecasts are free to read and there is nothing to subscribe to. Advertisements are always labelled as advertisements and are kept separate from the forecast.

Where advertisements appear

• A banner across the top of a location page.
• Three sponsored cards below the main forecast card.
• A tall panel beside the model agreement chart.
• Two blocks beside the nine day forecast, one of which is the slot sold to a local advertiser.
• A panel in the right hand column of a location page.

The local slot beside the nine day forecast is sold to one advertiser per city, so your business is not sharing the space with a competitor.

How booking works

Write to hello@seoninjas.co.za with the city, the slot and the dates you want. We confirm in writing, and the booking runs from the date we confirm. Rates are quoted on request and depend on the slot, the city and the length of the booking.

Creative

You supply the image and the wording, or we can produce the creative for you. Whatever is supplied must be accurate and must be yours to use. We may decline any advertisement, or ask for a change, and we may withdraw one that turns out to be misleading.

What we will not carry

• Anything misleading, or any claim that cannot be supported.
• Anything unlawful in South Africa, or aimed at children.
• Adult content, gambling, tobacco and vaping products, and alcohol where the law or the platform rules restrict it.
• Anything that impersonates another business, or that we believe would damage the trust readers place in this site.

What we report

We report how many times a page carrying your advertisement was viewed, in total and for the period booked. Those numbers come from our own page counting. We do not track individual readers, we cannot tell you who they were, and we do not hold personal information about them to share with you. See the privacy policy for how the counting works.

An advertisement is not a recommendation

We do not endorse, check or guarantee the goods or services advertised. Any agreement you make with an advertiser is between you and them.
